Typography Exercise

Project Details

We were given a template which had text in it, and we had to choose a different font and see where would that font lack (for example, missing discretionary ligatures or old style figures) and then fill these gaps with another font that has the missing features from the first font, as long as the two fonts work well together. I chose Helvetica Neue LT STD as the main text, which lacked a lot of features, and then I filled the shortcomings with FF Tisa Pro. Also, an optional requirement was to redesign the layout, which I had a bit too much fun with as you can see in the video.
